WordPress Portfolios through Trinity DomainsThere’s no necessary connection between Trinity Domains and portfolios–that is, the idea behind a Domain of One’s Own is that you have freedom to set things up as you see fit.

Having said that, if you are interested in having a portfolio in your domain, here are some guidelines:

  1. In the spring of 2018, we are using WordPress as the basis for portfolios. Install WordPress in a directory you’ve set aside for your portfolio, such as: foo.domains.trincoll.edu/portfolio/ (A subdomain, such as portfolio.foo.trincoll.edu) would also be fine.
  2. Turn off comments.
  3. Give yourself a nickname other than “admin”
  4. In this transition period, you can find documentation for portfolio best practices here: http://portfolios.trincoll.edu/blog/category/how-to/
